Introduction

It is also possibile to convert a SffV2 to a SffV1 file. However, you have to remember that downgrading an sff file to SffV1 format can be not enough to port a Mugen 1.0 (or following) char to older versions of Mugen. Infact Mugen 1.0 introduced improvements also in CNS so you will probably need a lot of work-around (changing a lot of code) in order to do that work.

However, if you really want to convert the same an SffV2 file into an SffV1 file you can do it following those instructions:

Converting SffV2 to SffV1 Using Nomen

• Go to the menu "Sff" and than choose "load" to load the sff file you want to convert

• After loading the sff file go again to the menu "Sff" and than choose "Select Sff Output Format" (This menu item allows you to choose a different format for saving an sff - default is SffV2)

• A new dialog will appear. You will see a "Sff v 2.0 - (Mugen 1.0 RC and following)". Click on it and choose, instead, "Sff v 1.0 - (All Mugen versions including olders)". Then press ok.

• Finally you must save the file with ANOTHER name (or another place). I suggest you to don't overwrite original file, so you will mantain a backup. To save the file (it will be saved into SffV1 format) go to "Sff" and choose "Save As..."
