Until then, here's a small update: StageVar("info.name") trigger will be coming in the next RC! Now 1.0 based characters will be able to use it to detect what stage they are on.

What a great news ! Indeed, it was really expected. By the way, it looks like that "info.name" refers to the value of the "name" parameter in the [Info] group of the stage's DEF file. Does that mean, in future version, other stage's parameters could be checked by a char ? Like StageVar("stageinfo.zoffset") which would return the ground y position ?
